What the heck is it?
What do you photograph?
The day you choose can be an ordinary day or an extraordinary day (a vacation, extended family gathering, end of life, etc.). Your session can be as short as 3 hours or can span multiple days.
How Does it work?
It is Simple.
I become a friend of the family for the day – engaging, playing, talking…and photographing.
The final photographs then create a visual memoir - a gorgeous storytelling album, personal art for your walls, and gifts for your loved ones.

I bring my camera, experience, and vision to creatively document all of the vital moments of your time together (including the happy, angry, and sad - because let’s be real, this is real life we are talking about here).
I engage with your family, connecting so everyone is comfortable.
I laugh with your kids when they are being ridiculous, flinch when they get hurt, then take the picture!
What will not happen
No guiding, directing, posing, or altering your environment.
No picking out a pretty spot in the park.
No getting all fancied up (in fact you might be in your PJs for some of it).
No expectations on my part for you to be anything other than yourselves.
When is the best time?
Anytime you like!
When raising children the days are long but the years are short, so don’t wait too long, these moments are fleeting.
Perfection never arrives, and imperfection is the best part of your family’s story anyway.
Season, light, time, location – none of this matters.
